Meet Marcel PETIT
Meet Marcel PETIT, a top-notch Tennis Coach from France with over 30+ years of experience catering to players of all skill levels. He’s a true expert who went through the French Tennis Association Coaching system to refine his craft.
Marcel’s love for tennis began at the young age of 8, and he quickly became a force to be reckoned with. He achieved great success in various competitions across France, including being crowned the High School junior champion in 1992. He even reached a second division ranking in France, level 5.5. In 2007, he won the title of Men’s Singles Champion at the British club Bangkok.
Since 2004, Marcel has been living and working in Asia, where he has held several coaching positions that have helped him become an authority in his field. He has coached at prestigious places like the Monte Carlo Country Club and served as the Director of multiple clubs in France, including the Tennis Club of Bressuire. Marcel has also worked as a coach for The French Tennis Federation and headed Junior Development in Vietnam. He has toured the world as a coach for junior, men’s, and women’s ITF and WTA tournaments. Notably, he has trained talented junior players and guided Davis Cup and Fed Cup participants. In Taiwan, he was the Head Coach at the respected Hope Tennis Academy, working with promising young players.
Since 2020, Marcel has been based in Bangkok, offering a wide range of tennis training services and operational consulting. He caters to players in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, and Rayong. You can find him at renowned locations like the British Club, The Peninsula Hotel and the Shangri-La Hotel in Bangkok.
In 2023, Marcel took his passion for tennis a step further by opening the Marcel PETIT TENNIS LAB. It’s a one-of-a-kind tennis shop where you can find innovative and exclusive tennis products that are specially chosen to elevate the game for players of all levels.
